YEA SCHOOL!!! Did I just say that???

So for those who are "Keeping Tabs" on my life, though I don't know why you would...its pretty boring, the latest news for me is that school is going GREAT!!! This is probably my least stressful semester. I actually enjoy going to my classes, and I'm making an A in my math class...I know mom, we're all stunned!!!! :) My classes are all education courses, so I'm actually interested in the things I'm learning about. Also, my Social Studies for Education Majors teacher loves me, and I'm totally the girl that goes above beyond on projects, that everyone hates...I LOVE IT! hahaha! I'm such a teacher's pet, but I'm ok with that and so is my grade! My last assignment she loved and ask if she could keep it, but it took forever and I'm going to be a teacher someday so I politely said, "I'll just hang on to it!" So other than school, work, and church nothing too exciting has been going on. One thing I'm excited about is teaching some art lessons to the Young Women at church, we're doing mixed media art...i'll post there finished products soon, along with Halloween pictures soon to come. I'm thinking I'll be a Stepford wife b/c the costume will be easy to put together.

This is an interactive bulletin board puzzle activity for 5th grade Social Studies!

Sunday Style

So I am obsessed with clothes, but the ones I love tend to be super expensive! My mission when shopping is to find things that could pass for the higher end retail stores, but are way less expensive! My advise is to spend more on the key items that will last and that are classic, and then buy the less expensive versions of the things that may be more trendy or risky. If a new style ends up lasting or you are just in love with it, spend the money for the original. My style changes a lot so I only spend more on the transitional items!
